daa wishes to advise that low visibility conditions this week resulted in the scheduled essential maintenance works on Monday, May 13 to Wednesday, May 15, being stood down. The scheduled works proceeded on Thursday, May 16 and the remainder of the works are now planned to continue to Saturday, May 18.
To facilitate these works across three nights instead of the originally scheduled four nights, works will take place from 10.30pm to 5am, 30 minutes earlier than originally advised.
Essential maintenance works and runway operations are subject to weather, and if conditions are not suitable, the works will be rescheduled to take place as soon as possible thereafter.
daa is conscious that runway operations during this essential maintenance period will result in an increase in noise levels for some local residents, and we will endeavour to complete the works safely as quickly as possible in order to minimise impact.
