On Wednesday, 11 December, daa's Community Engagement Team hosted a Discovery Tour with 6th year students from St. Finians Community College, Swords.

With a look at all the daa businesses, the team presented the career possibilities at Dublin Airport and how the roles work together across the wide airport environment.

With an overview of the airport businesses, the students heard the day-in-the-life stories from members of the Human Resources and Airport Operations teams along with a panel Q&A and discussion with our community team.

Members of the HR team also talked to the students about the employment initiatives and programmes that daa support including the job fairs, apprenticeships, internships, the daa graduate programme, and the external educational support programmes such as the Access Programme at DCU that is supported through the Dublin Airport Community Fund.

The students also got a tour of our airport operational centre (APOC) where the operational teams are based and saw how the two terminals and the busy airfield are managed.
