On Friday, 21 March, daa welcomed over 100 representatives from the local community groups and organisations who were awarded funding as part of the Dublin Airport Community Fund in 2024. 

With €500,000 awarded over two rounds to over 120 projects, 2024 was another bumper year of funding to worthwhile projects from across the local eligible areas.

From sporting equipment to sensory rooms, and musical instruments to solar panels, the variety of the projects captured in the Fund's categories really showcase the wonderful activities taking place across the local communities. 

Dublin Airport's Managing Director, Gary McLean said, 'Today it is great to welcome over 100 recipients from local community groups for the 2024 funds and to hear their stories and to hear how much of a difference the Dublin Airport Community Fund is making in the local communities.'
