Your ideas, Our Support
Dublin Airport's Community Fund is closed for applications and will reopen in spring 2025.
The Fund supports local projects that make a positive contribution to our neighbouring communities.
We will support applications from organisations located in the following areas:
Ballymun • Cloghran • Forrest Little • Greater Baskin • Hollystown • Malahide • Portmarnock • Rolestown • Santry • St. Margarets • Swords • The Ward • Tyrrelstown
We are interested in working with communities on developing initiatives around, for example, environmental and sustainability, health and wellbeing and social inclusion.
Dublin Airport Local Community Access Scholarship
We have partnered with Dublin City University (DCU) to provide scholarships through DCU’s Access Service, to those students that may be marginalised in our community, giving them a unique opportunity to access third level education.
The Community Fund will also support up to 20 students per year to enable them to attend DCU via its Access Programme. To find out more about the DCU Access Service, you can visit its website on www.dcu.ie/access
Community Fund Logo/Branding
Successful applicants will need Dublin Airport Community Fund’s logo to promote support of their initiative, which will be included in the subsequent Outcome Report mentioned above. This promotion could take the form of pitch-side signage, club jerseys or kits, garden benches or allotment signs, group websites, newsletters, social media, etc. Print and digital versions of the Community Fund logo are available below. Please read the Dublin Airport Community Fund Toolkit before using our logos. The Brand Toolkit will tell you all you need to know about which logo(s) to use and how to use them.
If you require any advice or assistance regarding use of the Community Fund’s logo, please contact us at communityfund@daa.ie.

Community groups and clubs across Fingal are being invited to apply for Dublin Airport’s Community Fund which has re-opened for applications. The application window will remain open until Friday, October 27.
The airport’s Community Fund was launched in 2017 with a total investment of €10 million to be distributed over 25 years. The Dublin Airport Community Fund makes a call for applications twice a year – normally in Spring and Autumn. There are two types of grants available: Minor Grants of less than €5,000; and Major Grants of more than €5,000. Applications are invited from 13 eligible areas from Santry, south of the airport to Rolestown in the north, and from Tyrrelstown on the west to Portmarnock on the east.
The Dublin Airport Community Fund supports local projects that make a positive contribution to communities around Dublin Airport with applications encouraged across six categories including Environment and Sustainability, Sports and Recreation, Education and Training, Health and Wellbeing, Social Inclusion and Community Development, and Culture and Heritage.
Organisations that have received funding in the past are welcome to submit applications for new projects. Awards from the Community Fund are made by an independent Grant Making Panel.
The Fund also supports up to 20 students per year from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to enable them to attend Dublin City University (DCU) via its Access Programme.
