Almost 2.7 million passengers used Dublin Airport in July, setting a new record for traffic in a single month.
Passengers numbers were up 17% compared to July last year.
The number of passengers travelling to and from continental Europe increased by 14%, with almost 1.5 million passengers flying to and from European destinations.
Just over 794,000 passengers took flights to and from the UK in July, which was a 16% increase on the same month last year.
Transatlantic traffic increased by 26% in July, with almost 320,000 people travelling between Dublin and North America during the month.
Other international traffic, which includes flights to the Middle East and Africa, increased by 42%, with almost 87,000 passengers flying to and from these destinations.
The number of passengers on domestic flights decreased by 10% in July, with just over 8,000 people taking flights within the Republic of Ireland last month.
In the first seven months of this year almost 14.2 million passengers have used Dublin Airport, which is a 15% increase on the same period last year.
