More than 2.1 million passengers travelled through Dublin Airport in March, a 17% increase over the same period last year.

UK traffic rose by 12% with just over 850,000 passengers travelling to and from the UK in March. The number of passengers on domestic routes increased by 20%; almost 8,000 passengers travelled this route sector last month.
Passenger volumes to and from North America grew by 38% with almost 181,000 passengers travelling on transatlantic routes in March.
Other international passenger traffic to the Middle East grew by 2% with over 64,000 passengers travelling last month.
The number of passengers using Dublin Airport as a hub to connect to another destination increased by 71% with over 51,000 passengers connecting through Dublin Airport last month.
Passenger numbers were boosted due to both St. Patrick’s Day and Easter falling in March.
More than 5.5 million passengers have travelled through Dublin Airport in the first three months of the year, representing a 17% increase, or an extra 817,000 passengers, compared to the same period last year.
