The Board of daa has announced, that following an intensive selection process, with keen interest from strong internal and external candidates, Peter Dunne will take up the role of Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Catherine Gubbins who will leave the business in the new year.
Peter will join daa from United Oil and Gas plc, a UK listed Natural Resources business, where he has been the CFO since 2022.
Prior to this, he spent most of his career in senior executive positions across several publicly listed companies in both Ireland and the UK.
This includes three years as Group Finance Director and Company Secretary in Origin Enterprises plc, an Irish listed multinational Agri-Services Group, and seven years in Petroceltic International plc, an Irish and UK listed oil and gas company, with operations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He Dunne studied Economics in UCD and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1999.
