Dublin Airport & Aegean Airlines Competition Terms & Conditions

Prize: Two return tickets from Dublin to Athens, flying with Aegean Airlines. The prize includes:
- Economy Comfort Flex fare tickets.
- One checked baggage item and one personal item per passenger.
- Other benefits as per the Economy Comfort Flex fare rules.
Travel Dates: Tickets must be booked and travel completed between 1 February 2025 and 20 December 2025.
Sales Dates: 1 February 2025 – 30 April 2025.
Tickets are valid only for flights operated by Aegean Airlines. Changes of carrier, route or class of travel are not permitted.

The competition is open to people living in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland who are aged 18 or over.
Employees of daa, Aegean Airlines, or their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
The competition will run across Dublin Airport’s social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram and Facebook).
Closing Date: Entries must be submitted by 3pm on 31 January 2025.
To enter, participants must follow the specific entry mechanics outlined in the competition post.
Only one entry per person is allowed per platform.
Winner will be contacted within 3 days of competition closing.

One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
The winner will be contacted via the social media platform used for entry within 48 hours of the competition closing.
The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize and provide any required details within 48 hours of being contacted. Failure to respond within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the prize, and another winner may be selected.
Tickets will be issued in the winner's name and their nominated travel companion's name. Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or other goods or services.

All travel must be completed before 20 December 2025, and no extensions or exceptions will be made.
Changes to the tickets are permitted only regarding travel dates and departure times, subject to availability and fare rules. No changes to routes or travel class are allowed.
Any additional costs incurred, such as travel insurance, accommodation, meals, airport transfers or other expenses, are the sole responsibility of the winner and their travel companion.
The winner and their travel companion are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas (if applicable) and travel insurance for the trip.
Any income tax liability incurred in connection with the tickets is the sole responsibility of the winner.

By entering, the winner agrees to the use of their name, image and any associated publicity material (including photographs or videos) for promotional purposes related to this competition.

The competition and these terms and conditions are governed by Irish law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland.
The air carrier’s liability is limited according to applicable law.
Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions, and the decision of Dublin Airport is final regarding any aspect of the competition or these T&Cs.
Dublin Airport and Aegean Airlines reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and its terms at any time without notice.
Dublin Airport will not retain or share personal data beyond what is required to contact the winner and facilitate prize redemption. All data will be handled in compliance with GDPR regulations.
